What the job included
Repair what can stay. Build what is missing.
Nineteen existing screens were repaired with new corners, new spline, and standard charcoal mesh.
Three screens were built from scratch using white 5/16-inch frame and the same standard charcoal mesh.
01: Before
The full batch arrived together.
This Carlsbad job included 22 window screens: 19 existing screens to repair and 3 screens to build from scratch.
02: Build
Three white frames were built from scratch.
The new screens used white 5/16-inch frame. New corners were used throughout the batch.
03: Screen
Standard charcoal mesh was installed.
New spline secured the standard charcoal mesh. The same mesh material was used across the repaired and newly built screens.
04: Check
Each completed screen was checked at the worktable.
The finished screens were photographed together, so the gallery does not label individual completed screens as repairs or new builds.
